Simone Orengo is a partner of Studio Benessia – Jorio (former partner of Studio Benessia-Maccagno).
His practice is focused on business and corporate law, with special reference to extraordinary financial transactions, M&A, transfers of businesses and acquisitions in the banking, financial and industrial sectors, joint ventures and private equity agreements.
Experienced in Italian and international litigation and arbitration on civil, commercial, financial matters (with a special focus on securities litigation), Mr Orengo has assisted banks and insurance companies in several sanction proceedings before the supervisory authorities (Consob, Bank of Italy, ISVAP).
He worked for other prominent Italian firms and graduated from the University of Turin Law School in 1996. He took an Post-Graduate Course in International Trade Law at the University Institute of European Studies (IUSE) in Turin in 1997.
He was admitted to the Turin Bar in 1999.
He was admitted to the Supreme Court Bar in 2013.
