Massimo Longo

Massimo Longo is a partner at the Benessia-Jorio Firm (already partner of the Benessia-Maccagno Firm).

He practices in the field of commercial and corporate law, providing both judicial and extrajudicial assistance to auditors and auditing firms, members of management and control bodies of capital companies, including in their relationships, both contentious and non-contentious, with regulatory authorities. He has gained specific experience in civil, commercial, corporate, and financial litigation, particularly in financial intermediation law, assisting banks and insolvency proceedings. He also handles extraordinary corporate transactions, business transfers, and equity stakes in the industrial, banking, and energy sectors.

He serves as a speaker at training courses organized by auditing firms and professional associations, as well as at specialized master's programs.

He also practices in the field of administrative law, particularly regarding public contracts for works, supplies, and services. He provides ongoing assistance to contracting authorities, including public law entities, in drafting tender documentation, managing bidding procedures, and handling contentious matters. Additionally, he has developed specific expertise in public participation companies and in-house entities. He collaborates with public entities, offering consultancy on cultural heritage matters.

He graduated in Law from the University of Turin in 1992.

He has been a member of the Turin Bar Association since 1995 and is listed in the Special Register of Lawyers admitted to practice before the Court of Cassation and other higher jurisdictions since 2007. He is also listed in the register of arbitrators maintained by the Conciliation and Arbitration Chamber established at Consob and serves as an arbitrator at the Arbitration Chamber of the Milan Chamber of Commerce.
