Andrea Chiesa is a partner at the Benessia-Jorio Firm (already partner of the Benessia-Maccagno Firm).
He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law at the University of Turin in 1990.
After two years of experience at a major Italian bank, he became a member of the Turin Bar Association in 1994 and has been listed in the Special Register of Lawyers admitted to practice before the Court of Cassation and other higher jurisdictions since 2008.
He offers professional assistance in both judicial and extrajudicial matters, including ordinary and complex arbitration proceedings, in areas such as civil, commercial, contractual, corporate, bankruptcy, insolvency law, and labor law. He has gained specific experience in the acquisition of equity stakes and business transfers, corporate law, financial intermediation, procurement, and insolvency proceedings. He addresses corporate crises from all perspectives, assisting in numerous bankruptcy procedures, preventive agreements, and extraordinary administration of large distressed companies. He submitted the first application for the negotiated settlement of corporate crises regulated by Law Decree 118/2021.
He has also gained specific experience in labor law, assisting companies in individual and collective disputes, as well as in procedures for accessing CIG, CIGS, and derogatory CIG instruments.
He also provides consultancy for the generational transition of businesses and estates.
